In this final episode with Dr. Samwel Ntapanta, we discuss and analyze critically on what we think feel Progress and Development should look like from an Afrikan perspective and in the Afrikan reality.
We hope that these conversations will help us vibrant youths to begin to think and have a clearer picture of what we want our beloved continent Afrika to look like instead of just complaining about the many problems and challenges that we are facing.
As written in Walter Rodney´s “How Europe Underdeveloped Africa”:
“Now it is in our hands—to overcome our history, to break the shackles of the past, to re-develop ourselves, our people, our nation and our world—
to find humane, creative and fearless ways of dealing with those who
presently oppose such development. These are audacious visions, and truly
awesome responsibilities. But we must go forward. Indeed, it seems clear to
us that even without any guarantees of success, we must move in the flow
of humankind’s best, most creative imagination, in the direction of our most
profoundly renewing dreams.”
